    Grub Problem

    Ok, so i installed kubuntu.
    First some info about my machine

    2 HDD's

    Ubuntu is installed on second hdd, so is grub, when i try to boot i get a "no such partition" error, and when i change it(pressing e twice) i get that error and sometimes, Cannot mount partition, i tried (1,1-1,5) all didnt work, how to fix this ?

    This is fixable. You'll have to sort out some details using the following guide:

    You will probably have to edit the boot menu called /boot/grub/menu.lst. But first, you must sort out where everything is on your two hard drives. Tip: use the geometry command (see the end of the How-to). You didn't mention if you have other operating systems or Windows, or other details.

      Well i know how the second one is, it has 3 partitions and none of them work when put in grub

        Well i installed kubuntu again(7.10), i put grub on my second hdd, grub loads, its pointing to the direct partition, but when i try to boot it sais failed to mount

          Hmm, we'll need a little more info here.

          What partitions (and OS'es) do you have on HDD 1?
          What partitions (and OS'es) do you have on HDD 2?
          Which HDD is your BIOS set to boot from?

          If unsure, try this:
