I am unsure if this is the place to ask this but I have dapper drake and I want to upgrade to feisty fawn, but I am unsure of how to go about doing that without deleting my settings, so how would I go about doing that?

Hi Kathera;
I suggest you run the application package manger from your System menu, it's called Adept and it must be run as root so it will prompt you for your root password. Once up and running, click on the "Fetch Updates" icon. When that's done, click on the "Full Upgrade" icon. The last step is to click on "Apply Changes" icon. This will update your system to Feisty Fawn.
I used this exact process myself successfully. Good luck.

you can also open kconsole and do sudo apt-get dist-upgradeComment
