Unionfs is removed after a mkinitramfs or dist-update

Hi, I have just installed kubuntu from the livecd. The kernel/initrd contains the unionfs module even on the standard hard disk installation.

But after making some changes and calling mkinitramfs... or making dist-upgrade ... the new initrd does not contains unionfs module :-((

Because I use unionfs for many pourpose ... how to make the unionfs still exist after a dist-update or a mkinitramfs ?
