Upgrade fails - "Free at least xxM of disk space on /boot"

    Hi!

I tried to upgrade to Feisty today, but I get the following error message:

"...Free at least 16M of disk space on /boot..."

It looks like this is a bug in upgrade tool ( http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...=%2Fboot+space ). But I dont know how to fix this on Kubuntu - can anybody help me please?

    Thanks!

Install Update-manager and use it instead of Adept.
Then you can do what is told in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=414639 post #15 and #28

I have the same problems, and did as you suggested. But when I run the update-manager in user mode, it doesn't have the upgrade buttons to Feisty. When ran in superuser mode the buttons are there, but the update starts immediately and the trick is not possible to do..

      More ideas?

Re: Upgrade fails - "Free at least xxM of disk space on /boot"

If I execute upgrade tool the following points are completed successfully:

        + Preparing the upgrade
        + Modifying the software channels
+ Fetching and installing the upgrades (fails with error message not enough free space on /boot)

My question is if it could work if I dont abort the upgrade process and start adept now in order to perform an upgrade (with the changed software channels).

So I should get all feisty upgrades?

        Thanks!
