I have just changed from Ubuntu to Kubuntu and so far so good. In my continuing quest to prove that Linux is better than Windows, I'm trying to get my dual display working. I didn't try very hard in Ubuntu because I was just learning....but now that I've settled on the KDE environment, I want to get it working.
I've read about the poor ATI support for Linux and that one fact alone could keep me from getting it to work..... but it won't keep me from trying
This same card gave me a dual display in XP without a problem.
Has anyone had success in getting a dual display to work with an older ATI card? ... or should I stop hitting my head against the wall and just get an NVIDIA Dual VGA card?
Thoughts? Help? Thanks!
