canon i250

I have canon i250 but it doesn't work with linux
I view turboprint site,but for my printer there is a "turboprint logo"with any resolution >
when I wrote xtpsetup to configure turboprint I have this problem

ERROR:
xtpsetup can't open X display
Please use the following sequence when switching to root:

xhost +
su root
export DISPLAY=:0

I'm not quite clear about that error but would you tell us how did you installed turboprint?

In any case try first "sudo xtpsetup" (without the quotes) on the Konsole

Please let us know about the result.....

Well according to the Linux Printing Database the i250 is not supported natively. If you visit Turboprint website your printer is listed as supported, that means that Turboprint should be the way to go.
