No media sounds

Yes.. I've installed Kubuntu I even have sounds and everything.
I installed skype, and could speak listen to everyone (and I have 2 soundcards, they both work at the same time!)

But when I try to open a song with amorak (mp3,cd..) It starts, and 1 second after that it stops, without hearing any sounds. On youtube I don't hear anything (I installed flash..)

What could possibly be the problem? I don't realy think that there's something wrong with the sound cards

The exactly thing happens to me to. What's going on? The mp3 are on NTFS partition. Could that be the problem?

Same here. I think codecs have to be installed - libxine-extracodecs if I am right.

On youtube I don't hear anything (I installed flash..)

If some other media device say amork or kaffeine is open, sound does not play in Youtube. You will have to close the multimedia app, restart your browser and then try opening Youtube file. Or it maybe a problem with flashplayer 7, the latest 9 is not available for linux yet. Youtube recently updated their codecs used and maybe there is a compatibilty problem.
