Hey All,
I have a mitac laptop with onboard LAN by SIS900.
I installed Kubuntu and network was fine.
I did a shutdown and restart, no network
I did a reboot, went into the bios, disabled all SIS900 devices and started Kubuntu, did a shutdown and restart and enabled only the SIS900 network again.
Then network was up, and after a reboot, no network. The trick above doesnt work anymore.
When i do a sudo ifconfig i only get the loopback device.
Does anybody have an idea what to look at? I have already googled around a bit but found nothing that could help me.
