    Network Problem!

    i'm trying to install Kubuntu on my kids computer, it has a linksys wirelessG usb network adapter and i can't install because it says no network found, if i hit continue it eventually says no kernel can be installed, so how do i get it installed and how do i get it to recognize the usb network adapter?, thank you for any help!

    Hello logants,

    perhaps remove the USB adapter and see if you can get the distro installed and then work on the WiFi adapter...............

    What are the system specs?.............may assist others in diagnosing the problem.........

      There is the log viewer, open it and see if the syslog says something when you plug/unplug the usb. That is the first step to know if the hardware was recognized.

        Depending on the experience of the user, may be a little much to find / open an install log...........
