I have installed kubuntu on my computer and made an ext3 partition for linux and another ext3 partition to be used to store stuff to be used on windows and linux. I can view all of the partitions from linux but not from windows. How do I go about doing this? Does it have something to do with how I mounted all the partitions? Thanks.

When you partition your harddrive during install it is suggested that you create
a FAT32 partition for mutual storage of data. The partition can be seen from Linux as well as from Windows (as can NTFS).
get the free tool fs-driver which have both read and write access to Linux Ext2 volumes. http://www.fs-driver.org/
or use the small but costly program, Captain Nemo, a file explorer, that can see all Linux partitions from Windows.
