Yesterday I wanted to install Kubuntu alternate on my hard drive.
I made a root partition....OK
I made a swap partition....OK
Then the partition tool told me that the rest of the disk was unusable.
I tried this several times, with same result.
Then I took a Mandriva One disk, used it to partition and format that particular part ( which was the last 21 Mb of a 160 Mb hard drive ) without a problem.
I tried again with Kubuntu , with the same result...unusable.
Then I installed Mandriva on that particular "" unusable " partition without a problem.
I wiped ot of again, and again Kubuntu told me it is unusable.
I used 606 and 606-1 both with same results.
However, if I install with the same CDs to my 2nd HD, all is fine.
Please, I do not need help.
This is a report for the developers.
I hope the site admin will forward it to the person concerned.
Thanks
