Booting dapper (4)

When booting dapper (4) i got the following messages:

Will now check the root file system
...

Then I got a shell prompt.
Typing CTRL+D got the boot process to resume
apparently in good conditions.

i have the same problem

and my laptop never boot...

i have acer travelmate 2303WLMi

any solution ?
