Hi I'm using Virtual PC and both Ubuntu and Kubuntu 6.06. The sound works fine under Ubuntu but doesn't under Kubuntu. Does anyone ahve any ideas why this might be?

Check if kmix settings are ok. Check lines also in alsamixer. If sounds work with Ubuntu they should work in Kubuntu too.
