Sony DVD writer

Hi all
Need a little help
I have installed a new DVD writer and for the most part it works.
However after what seems a successful Write to a DVD RW disc when i try to read it I get a message that the device can only be mounted by by root.
Any ideas would be greatfully received.

Hi,

You should modify the /etc/fstab :
kdesu kate /etc/fstab
Get to the line of the cdrom (It should be on /media/cdrom0)
Add ",user" to the line to look like this :
/dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
