keyboard on Asus Laptop

hi,
my problem is that in my laptop there are some keyboard function as Fn+F5 that rise up brightness; these keys work properly but not audio keys (Fn+F10-12); I see a bug report but it doesn't help me....(kde 3.5). Any suggests?

I would like to ask you what keyboard layout do you use in your settings. I have got my Asus U5F and I am trying to find the right keyb layout that will respect all function keys?
