the only sata hdd i have is a sata300 320GB seagate barracuda 7200.10rpm 16mb cache with perpendicular writing technology.
that being said, my question is, (keep in mind i only have one sata hdd and an ata hdd as "slave"), should i use write back as the journaling method in Filesystem Specific Mount Options? kubuntu is installed on the ata hdd, but i just use the sata300 hdd for storage of data.
is that method (write back cache) only intended for raid setups/arrays?
i'm using edgy btw, i just thought i'd post in this section of the forum since more ppl prolly read it, and since its only a general hardware question...
