Hello,
I'm relatively new to Linux and now running Kubuntu 6.06 with a AMD K8 3200 Athlon 64 CPU on a Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. I tried to install an UPS (MGE Pulsar Ellipse Premium 500 USBS) using the NUT tool, but it failed. It seems that Kubuntu does not see my UPS.
When I do "lsusp" as root, I get as answer:
root@bruna:/home/schmitt# lsusb

and doing "dmesg" after unpluging and re-connecting the UPS yields:

When I'm running my computer under WinXP, the UPS is recognized and works perfectly.
What can I do to make the UPS work under Kubuntu Dapper?
Thanks in advance,
Artur
