    Cannot Install ATI fglrx drivers

    > So i was following a guide I found on these forums to install my ATI X1800....then comes the part where I "apt-get install module-assistant"

    >admin@Terrell-SYS2:~$ sudo apt-get install module-assistant

    >E: Couldn't find package module-assistant

What in tux's name do i do at this point? This is the only way to get my 3d accel that i haven't tried yet. Is there another way to get module-assistant?

Could you point me towards that thread. I'm using fglrx right now, but I never had to get module-assistant. The steps I used can be found here...

The steps u posted are the ones i am using....im using method #2.

I looked at other guides that use module-assistant and they have to apt-get it.

I found module-assistant in synaptic, and just to be sure, I checked adept too. I should have asked this before, but have you upgraded your repositories. Specifically, have you enabled multiverse and universe repos? The easies way to see if apt is reading your repos correctly would be to just open Adept or Synaptic and search for module-assistant. If you canfind it, you can instal it that way.
