Using all buttons of my MX700 logitech mouse

hi, what are the configuration parameter to set for using the 2 side buttons of my Logitech MX700 mouse, I what to bind them to back and forward in Firefox and Konqueror by exemple but didn't find any way to do that. Any help welcome please.

There's a Ubuntu Community HowTo, but I must confess that it didn't work with my Kensington Expert Mouse Pro.
