I succesfully installed Ubuntu 606 on My Vaio, however as I onloy have 512M memory and I need it partitionned for Linux and MACOSX and Windows I tried Xubuntu and I never got it to work: at the end of the process I got a black screen with two rectangular dots and the computer died. With Kubuntu I can't partition the hard drive. The process I follow is as follows:
1st Create 4 partitions with OSX 1st, 3rd, 4th are free space
2nd install OSX on the 2nd partition (works fine) (total 10GB)
3rd install XP on 1st part as FAT32 (total 8GB) works fine
4th try to make the free space partition for my Swap (2GB) and boot (the rest about 32GB)
Xubuntu is unable to set the 2 free space remaining partitions into someting usable. I need 2 part for Swap and Boot, but it doesn't happen.
What am I doing wrong?
This sistem works fine with SUSE and manually changing the boot configuration allows me to boot any of the 3 systems I need at given time, but I'd like to do the same with Xubuntu.
Any hints?
