I installed dapper on a different HD, and it will not see the modem, yet when I put the breezy hd back in it is recognized, is there a work around for this, or does dapper not work with external modems? Thanks

"see" the external modem? do you mean you do dont receive an IP address?
is it connected via ethernet or usb?

It may be that all you have to do is copy the wording of the file /etc/networks/interfaces from your Breezy installation to your Dapper installation.Comment
