Driver Issues on 2nd Account

I have an Averatec 3500 Laptop. I've been running Kubuntu for a few months and I have had no issues with any drivers up untill now. I created a 2nd account for a friend of mine and when they go to listen to music on there account it pops up with an error::
"xine was unable to initiallize any audio drivers"
I also went to Adept to see if there was a driver patch or something and the system fails to contact the Super User....any ideas on what might be causing this? Any helps will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same problem recently. Kubuntu does not seem to like to share sound hardware. I turned off all applications using sound and logged backed into the second account and the sound worked.
