Volume levels in Firefox and Youtube

Hi all. I have some really strange behaviour with Firefox. When I open a Youtube tab and play a video, the sounds levels are set very slow (in volume settings -> applications -> Firefox). Once I have adjusted all levels to my preference it goes back to the original non-preferred way with a new browser session; sometimes even with a new tab.

Having to deal with with 4 different volume levels is pretty annoying albeit not a deal breaker: Firefox application volume, Youtube in browser volume, System volume, speaker volume,

    Has anyone experienced this before?

I would ask (first): Does this happen using another browser (Chrome/Chromium say)? If it doesn't, then the issue is within Firefox itself.

It appears its a FF issue. However same FF version in a non-Plasma desktop doesn't display same behavior. I will try disable the browser extension to see if it is related to that.
