I'm using a laptop with 19.04 and after it has not been used for a longer period of time or when I close its lid it goes in to sleep mode.
After I waked it up from the sleep mode and login, Plasma desktop is not running. No taskbar, no desktop icons, just the window I had open before it went to sleep and that's it.
Only way I can get the desktop back is either restarting or typing "kstart plasmashell". I had Kubuntu 18.10 installed on this computer before and I updated to 19.04.
