Invert mouse doesn't work on my touchpad

I've installed Kubuntu Linux v19.04 on my HP Spectre 13-4003dx-x360 laptop
When browsing Firefox, scroll-up (two fingers swipe-up gesture) scrolls the horizontal nav bar up and scroll-down (two fingers swipe-down gesture) scroll it down. Same goes with Plasma UI nav bars. I'm used to the opposite way.
In the mouse settings>scrolling I've checked the Invert scroll direction checkbox but it didn't change a thing.
Any suggestions ?
