Discover shows 1 update available although system is up to date

A couple of problems with Plasma 5.14.3 mean that updates in system tray shows 1 update available. CLI shows system up to date. Have tried various combinations of --fix missing and dist-upgrade but problem persists.

Any ideas?

I saw that in the past as well with Kubuntu Cosmic. The update icon would appear but opening the terminal and checking with `sudo apt update` followed `sudo apt full-upgrade` or with `pkcon refresh` followed by `pkcon update` would come up empty:

But I'm not seeing it today. Maybe whatever it is has gone away.
