Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

Its a 4 GB drive. Is that too big for it? I noticed up to 10 GB drives are being sold now. If size is a problem then KDE partition manager needs some work.Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

Hmmm, 4Gb and 10Gb drives ... seems like we've jumped back about 15 years!Desktop PC: Intel Core-i5-4670 3.40Ghz, 16Gb Crucial ram, Asus H97-Plus MB, 128Gb Crucial SSD + 2Tb Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 HDD running Kubuntu 18.04 LTS and Kubuntu 14.04 LTS (on SSD).
Laptop: HP EliteBook 8460p Core-i5-2540M, 4Gb ram, Transcend 120Gb SSD, currently running Deepin 15.8 and Manjaro KDE 18.

OK, Steve7233, I think you mean TB not GB: a 4 TB drive. Above, I think, 2 TB, you must use the newer GPT (GUID Partition Table), not the older dos-mbr (or whatever it is called by your partition editor). So check that detail.

Not sure what partition manager you used. In any case, I would try GParted. You can install it in Kubuntu using Muon (gparted); or make a live CD/USB.
