[PLASMA 5] Upgrade Kubuntu to latest version?

I have Kubuntu 18.04
kde plasma :5,12,9
kde base: 5,47,0
qt: 5,9,5
kernel: 4,15,0,72-generic
64bit

And I want to upgrade my os to the latest version of kubuntu.
There is no new upgrade in app store so how to it?

Well, if you want to do an upgrade through the "app store" - meaning repositories, I guess - you'll probably have to wait until March... and maybe a little longer.
What you could do is get a daily build of 20.04, which is the next LTS, and install that.
Maybe in a separate partition, copy your /home to it, and see how you like it.
I have it on the laptop (old, 4G of RAM) and it works... perfectly so far.

ok, Don; I can wait for March to upgrade my Kubuntu but I wonder can I show new updates about apps on appstore until March? for example, chrome etc.

I guess the appstore is Discover, then...
You can

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt-get update

which should let you get "more recent but unsupported" updates to your Plasma and apps than your LTS does... maybe read a bit about backports, pros and cons, first.

there are some error messages on concole after sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports command.Turkish sentences says the file has not avaiable file extention so it is ignored file.

Well it seems to have added at least some.
Try

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

You should see a big list of updates. If it looks too big or worrying, you can always say n at the prompt.

BTW, this is a much better way to update than using Discover, as you can see what it does, how big the download is, whether it's getting kernels or not, and cancel in case... well, there's instances.
A good idea is to make an alias for it.
