[SOLVED] Notifications no longer appear on taskbar

    Hello,

I am wondering how come the "Notifications" no longer appear on the task bar. Below is an image showing that "Notifications" is not appearing on the task bar.

I don't recall making a change. But, maybe I did.

"Notifications" use to show up on the task bar. I would like that behavior back.

    Thank you.

It started to work again. Not sure what the problem was.

          Funny you should mention that!

One day at work I got a call from one of my users claiming that my software was making her screen go crazy. The office complex is completely carpeted and as I walked to her cubical I built up a STRONG charge. When I got to her cubical I exclaimed rather dramatically "Heaaallllll!" while placing my hand on the monitor. A STRONG spark lept to the monitor and it immediately began behaving normally. The clerk turned an looked at me, her jaw slacked and her eyes wide open. I began laughing and explained what happened. That monitor never misbehaved again.

When I was working for the Alaska Army National Guard, we had an employee who, for what ever reason, had the ability to destroy electronic equipment in the office; computers, printers, what ever. One of the printers she fried; literally; caught on fire. No joke. We took to putting grounding straps on all of her computer equipment!

                Not for several years.
It was the same gal who complained that her mouse and keyboard was being messed up by my software. I brought a keyboard and mouse with me that time because I had seen her desk before. Her computer was surrounded by bags of popcorn, candy, nuts, and other assorted sweets and eats. Her keyboard was literally packed with crumbs and grease and chocolate smear. The mouse roller was loaded with grease and so were its footpads. I replaced both and also took some of her hand wipe to wash off the mouse pad. My program, of course, worked perfectly after that!

And keeping a fire extinguisher near her desk?

She had some really strong potential!
