[SOLVED] File Browser in Kate

I stumbled across a method of splitting the screen and having a file browser running on the right side.
This way I could copy/paste coded HTML very conveniently and check the document. I know there are other ways of doing this, but the split screen method was so easy-peasy!

Trouble is, I cannot remember how I did it. I have combed the Kate handbook without success. Obviously the info I need is in there somewhere, but I could not find it.

I'd be grateful for advice.

EDIT:
I just stumbled again, and found the answer. Simply split screen vertically, then select right or left, and open the corresponding saved HTML file.

Try Settings > Configure Kate > Plugins and enable File System Browser.
