To Whom It May Concern,
Thank you for your hard work on Kubuntu. I've been using Kubuntu for few years, and I really love it.
But I have a problem since 17.10B2 that my printer doesn't work on the latest released Kubuntu(17.10), which was working on 17.04 or 16.10
Printer:Canon - Satera LBP7110C
connection: Wi-Fi
For comparison, I set up 2 clean VirtualBox guest OSs. kubuntu17.04 and kubuntu17.10. and did the same steps to install the printer driver.
apt-get install -y libgnome-keyring-common libgnome-keyring0
dpkg -i --skip-same-version --refuse-downgrade cnnst_2.31-1_amd64.deb; # printer driver
apt-get install -y libglade2-0 libxml2:i386
dpkg -i --skip-same-version --refuse-downgrade cndrvcups-common_3.80-1_amd64.deb cndrvcups-carps2_1.40-1_amd64.deb; # printer driver
both printer setup finished with no errors.
but kubuntu17.10 one just won't print ...
I noticed that ArtfulAardvark have some Known issues on printing.(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtfulAardvark/ReleaseNotes)
Do you have any suggestions or could you point me in the direction of some useful resources. Thank you.
Best Regards,
Wang.
