For those using 16.04, like me, this was expected.

Testing now and will report back if I see anything changed in my systems.

[edit] I've been running this for about 3 hours and find nothing noticeably different and no problems.

I updated yesterday, and so far so good. The only actually change I found so far was a minor change in the Spectre/Meltdown analysis - at least on my MB/CPU platform. YRMV ...
