Any luck with Windows VPN [PPTP] ?

Hello all.

Does anybody has any luck connecting to Windows 7 PC via PPTP ?

I configured my Windows 7 Pro PC like this https://social.technet.microsoft.com...n-in-windows-7. Then tried to configure VPN in the Network Manager but wasn't able to connect Windows PC so far. Various HOW-TOs in the internet are outdated (~2009) and not working.

Could anyone share working config on both ends (Windows and Kubuntu) ?

Have you made sure the required ports for VPN//PPTP are open in your firewall?
