    Firefox and Thunderbird Updates?

Firefox is currently at 38.0.5 and version 39.0 from Mozilla is due Tuesday.

Thunderbird is currently at 38.0.1 and version 38.1.0 is tentatively scheduled for release at the end of the week.

Will we be seeing the updates, and why haven't we seen 38.0.5 and 38.0.1?

Firefox — Notes (38.0.5) — Mozilla First offered to Release channel users on June 2, 2015.

Thunderbird — Notes (38.0.1) — Mozilla First offered to Release channel users on June 11, 2015.

Thanks. I'm not interested in adding PPAs for newer builds.

I'm already using Firefox 38.0.5, 39.0rc3, and Firefox 41.0a1, along with Thunderbird 38.0.1 and 41.0a1 from Mozilla. Firefox 38.0 from Canonical is also installed, though rarely used.

I'm more interested in why my Firefox 38.0 from Canonical hasn't been updated to Firefox 38.0.5, released June 2nd.

For that matter what happened to Firefox 38.0.1, released May 14, 2015?

Maybe there were no security fixes to those versions requiring an update.

Will we be seeing the newest releases that are due this week instead?

I don't have answers for your questions. Perhaps someone might, if you file a bug against Firefox?
