Skype not loading giving Segmentation Fault Error - Kubuntu 14.04

Hello Folks:
I just installed Skype via Muon on kubuntu 14.04. But it does not load. The bouncing icon bounces for a while and disappears without loading the application. I tried to run it in konsol and got "Segmentation Fault (Core dumped)" message.
Any idea how to get around this?

Well, it seems nobody here either uses Skype or care about it . Anyhow, for those who may eperience a similar issue, here is how to handle it:
Go to muon and purge both Skype & Skype-bin. Then go to skype.com and download skype for ubuntu .deb file and install it. You are all set now.
