I have OpenElec on RPi and NTFS external disk. the df-h command shows about 390 GB out of 1.8 TB is occupied. Disk is formated NTFS. Up until upgrade to 14.04 the speed was reasonably fast.
now when i open the disk form Kubuntu it loads like so: one folder then about 8-10 seconds later another folder and so on. even if i open a folder that containes only 4 files (with the size abotu 300 MB) it is loading files like that. one file, 8-10 seconds later second file, 8-10 secs later another file. i tired a folder with some text files same thing. what is going on? this worked quite fast before ( imean considering the Pi CPU) before.
Is Baloo indexing the files on networked disk maybe? i tried rebooting the pi but there doesn't seem to be any effect.
It's NTFS fiel format as i have some windows mashcines and occasioanlly i am transfering files to it via USB.
result of df -h:
