Kubuntu 14.04 with backports.
I'm trying to get a S4 (Android 4.4.2) connected with USB. I choose PTP or MTP, the device shows up in dolphin, but access is not possible. Error is "could not read, could not claim device."
lsusb shows device as
Bus 001 Device 011: ID 04e8:6860 Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd GT-I9100 Phone [Galaxy S II], GT-I9300 Phone [Galaxy S III], GT-P7500 [Galaxy Tab 10.1]
S2, S3, Tab ? Where is my S4 ?
This has worked sometime ago, i stumbled over it because someone with the same device and kubuntu called me because he couldnt copy his music to his galaxy.
