I checked this morning and linux-image-3.11.0-15 (3.11.0-15.25) not in the Kubuntu repos yet. It is still at 3.11.0-15,16Linux because it works. No social or political motives in my decision to use it.

I would not worry about it too much. It states "an unprivileged local user" can exploit the flaw. You have any of those sitting around at home.Linux because it works. No social or political motives in my decision to use it.
