Digikam 3.1.0: No html export

The software is "Digikam 3.1.0 Using KDE Development Platform 4.10.5". This "no html export" issue has been discussed in digikam support, but the only reply I saw was that the omission had been repaired in a kipi plugin. I have not been able to find it and do not understand how to restore this export option. Any advice? (I realize that both Kubuntu and Digikam have moved on from the versions I'm using, if that's an issue.)

PS: libkipi10 4:4.10.2-0ubuntu1 and its libkipi-data are installed.
