As of this morning chromium no longer works for me. As with chrome, if I try to use it, it reboots kde. I tried the fix for chrome on another thread but still the same result. I have completely removed both programs and reinstalled but same issue.

They worked fine yesterday. There were these updates yesterday that must have caused the problem. I didn't restart my computer till today and that's when the problem started.....Alienware 17 R2

Ok all you nvidia guys. I had a feeling this may be a video problem because I noticed when my computer was booting the Nvidia logo screen would come up for a few seconds, which it would only do after a driver update and it didn't do this until the updates on Thursday and there was no nvidia update and the kde boot screen blanks out for a second when it goes from the world icon to the desktop icon, which it still does even after the nvidia purge, and I went to use Amarok today and it caused kde to reboot just like chromium. So I purged the nvidia driver from my system which reverted me back to nouveau and the reboot problem on both amarok and chromium ceased. Now what on earth could have caused this?
