Increase Volume Past 100%

    Before Veromix there was Pavucontrol.

    Pulse Audio Volume Control (sudo apt-get pavucontrol) also allows you to set levels > 100%.

    You can do this independently for each sound card (my systems have 2 sound cards each) as well as for each input device...

    Set the levels once and they stay set.

      Thank you! While I still have some distortion, I am generally able to achieve higher volume levels before distortion occurs.
