    Dynamic Range Compression Audio Editor

I used this app a ton in windows to apply dynamic range compression ( http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynam...ge_compression) to AC3 audio extracted from mk or avi files. Can any one recommend a similar program, preferably Qt/KDE based but a GNOME/GTK+ UI will suffice. I believe Audacity is capable but did not care much for the GUI.
