    security in rekonq vs firefox

I just noted that if I use rekonq and open www.altinn.no the security certificate fails. Even though under "details" it says the certificate is trusted. (altinn.no is a Norwegian website for pushing almost everything to the authorities like tax returns etc) If I use firefox, everything works fine. I checked that the certificate is the same....what sort of paranoia can be enabled in rekonq that is not in firefox? (i think my setup is kept as out of the box with regards to security)

The trust chain is failing when Rekonq is trying to validate the certificate authority's root certificate:

When you view the certificate chain, you can see the failure at the root:

This certificate does not match KDE's current certificate for VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5:

Note the different validation periods, serial numbers, and digests (or "fingerprints").

Chromium finds the correct root certificate:

You can see that the SHA-1 fingerprint matches that of the root certificate that KDE knows.

I am, alas, at a loss to explain Rekonq's strange behavior.
