What is best way to test Kubuntu for the ARM processor?

How can we test the Kubuntu version being developed for ARM processor computers? I plan to order a RaspberryPi.org computer for $35 when they are available but would like to get an affordable ARM processor netbook. Apparently Kubuntu doesn't run on the RaspberryPi, only Fedora, Debian and Arch Linux. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

If Debian will run on it, then Kubuntu will [read:should] run on it, as Kubunut (all the true *bunutu's) are Debian based.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

there are usually some kde versions built for arm, mut not often an image. You would have to install the ubuntu image for it (or more likely the Linaro one - they basically take ubuntu and make images for the various boards/devices out there, often with the graphics drivers neded for them.

I have a freescale imx53 arm board, and kde does run on it, tho poorly in later ubuntu versions due to the current lack of video acceleration. The lucid lynx image that came from freescale works ok in terms of kde, but imo that KDE version is just plain slow period.

Linaro/ubuntu are coming up with new stuff in precise that should provode great support for these devices, even an arm build of XBMC

Genesi apparently will not sell the i.MX53 ARM processor netbook, laptop, etc. but leapfrog ahead to a quad core i.MX6 netbook, laptop later in 2012, details at http://bbrv.blogspot.com/2011/12/holiday-surprise.html . How about the Nufront ARM processor netbooks running Kubuntu (Ubuntu) that were supposed to be available by now? Have any Kubuntu software testers (not developers) had success running Kubuntu (Ubuntu) on the Beagleboard? We will probably buy a http://raspberrypi.org ARM processor Linux computer for $35, demo it at http://LinuxFestNorthwest.org and wait for an affordable quad core ARM processor Linux netbook with Pixel Qi screen to arrive later in 2012. Since Apple has made so much money selling their own computers, why couldn't Kubuntu (Ubuntu) sell a fast, affordable, lightweight, quad core netbook designed for Kubuntu with energy saving Pixel Qi screen? Thanks.
