    Adding an item to K Menu doesn't work

    I'm trying to add an item to the K menu using kmenuedit, but the item doesn't show up in the list after I save the changes. I first tried it by right clicking on the K menu icon and getting to the kmenuedit dialog that way. After that didn't work, I tried "kdesudo kmenuedit" from the command line, but that didn't work either.

    Is anyone else experiencing the same problems? Has something changed in this version of KDE that I missed?
