    Reinstalling Kubuntu

    I'd like to do a complete reinstall of Kubuntu 11.10.
    The previous version was 11.04, but I've failed wih the update.
    So do you have any suggestions for me?

    Download and burn a LiveCD of 11.10 and install from it?
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      Providing you were smart the fisrt time around you have a separate /home partition.
      During the new install from CD or USB you select to NOT format this /home and you are gold.

      Or split off a new / (root) and use the Live USB/CD to copy the old /home directory onto the remaining partition and do the same.
