    Firefox, APT protocol

This is odd - I wanted to install a package via Firefox, and it I get the message: "Firefox doesn't know how to open this url, because the protocol (apt) isn't associated with any program." I never had a problem with this in the past... I checked and the Ubuntu Firefox modifications plugin is installed and active. So I then tried these old instructions here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AptURL - still didn't work. I have checked, and the apturl-common and apturl-kde packages are installed. I also tried installing the gnome (GTK) front end, and it still refuses to work... This did work in 11.04 before the distribution upgrade, so I'm not sure what broke.... Any idea's on how to fix?

No apt listed in there.... Forget it for now, I'll just use ReKonq for the time being.
