I noticed this happened after I installed Digikam, not sure if its related. Also there is only one share option in the Gwenview and that is only for ipod.

have you recently updated to , say, kde4.7.2 from the ppa? if so, you may have to log out to allow all the new libraries to be loaded. that is just one reason for that sort of error. But usually there is more info in that sort of message if run from a terminal that may point to what is wrong.
I am not seeing this problem, nor am I seeing the missing kipi plugins either. That package should be installed as it is used and installed by digikam, and gwenview can use them as well but not required, so that is one other thing to check. -

Nope I have not added any ppa's except for the kdenlive one...
