Well, 11.04 was giving me issues, so I decided to take the plunge and do the easiest thing possible, upgrade. If it fails, I have to do a reinstall anyways, so I figured, 'What the heck!'
I was nervous. The last time I upgraded was on my Dell machine and it was from 10.04 to 10.10 and it was a disaster! But I had a better, home built computer and knew that I had a better chance of success with this setup than the other, so I hit the dreaded 'Upgrade' button.
A few hours later, I stared at a beautiful desktop. Only had one issue with my sound which was fixed quickly and everything is running smooth as butter.
