I'm running Kubuntu 10.10.
I use adept regularly to install packages, but recently I have a problem with it. It is not listing all the packages that were until recently available. I checked the /etc/apt directory and the only file that has
touched recently, is '10periodic' in the apt.conf.d directory. It has today's date.
I want to install some perl scripts, but when I search for perl in adept under the 'browser' tab,
nothing shows up. If I search for c++, I get 2 packages that show up, nothing from the GNU c++ distribution.
Does anyone have any ideas on why the behavior would suddenly change?
BTW, if I run Kpackagekit, the modules all show up. I will move along with that for now, but I really
like adept better than Kpackagekit and would prefer to use it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
